Up to 10 Contestants will be admitted (A wait list will be taken in the event of the contestants are unable to attend after applying and paying the entry fee, if all seats are filled for the Amateur Chili Pepper Contest.
Ten (10) Rounds of eating hot chili peppers in increasing levels of spiciness. If there is more than one (1) person left after 10 rounds, the contest will continue with as many rounds are needed in a hot sauce chug, increasing in spiciness in each round until there is a winner.

Entry Fee: $35 per person (non-refundable)
Prize Money: 1st Place – 50% of Entry Fees up to $ 175
2nd Place – 35% of Entry Fees up to $ 120
3rd Place – 15% of Entry Fees up to $ 50
Hot Sauce Contest

Who: Commercial and Individuals who make Hot Sauce.
What: There will be two categories. The Hottest Hot Sauce, and the Most Flavorful Hot Sauce. You may enter as many different bottles as you like. Submission of a commercial or cottage license is required to participate.
Entry Fee: $10 per bottle (non-refundable)
Prize Money: 1st Place – $50 and a First Place Ribbon
2nd Place – Second Place Ribbon
3rd Place – Third Place Ribbon

SUBMIT YOUR FAVORITE SPICEY DISH!
Two categories: (1) Restaurant, and (2) Individual
The public will judge for (1) Most Spicy, (2) Best Flavor
Entrants must be (individuals, vendors, restaurant) located within a 25-mile radius of Winnsboro 75494.
Entrant Fee​
Restaurants: $50; 2 winners (Most Spicy, Best Flavor) gets entry fee returned; Restaurants get public recognition.
Individuals: $25. Winner for “Most Spicy” $100, and for “Best Flavor” $100
Each entrant will be provided 10 peppers to add to their dishes (up to 3-4 days before the event), directly from professional east Texas pepper grower Gary Maale (contact him at 409 dash 692-4005 to make arrangements). Gumbo and chili recipes not allowed (there’s a separate Chili contest at Autumn Trails). Entrants are required to submit recipes with an application (to be held strictly confidential by event hosts, for food allergy purposes). Other than that, the only boundary is your imagination!

HOSTS: League of Fire, Lonestar Mastiffs Farms, & Pyke’s Pantry will be holding a Chili Pepper Eating Contest.
VENDORS WANTED: Do you create and make amazing spicy food and spicy crafts, then we are looking for you to join us for this League of Fire Champion Belt Match and the first ever Lonestar Pepper Palooza to sell your products. (First come, first paid, first served.)
